Continuing Education Credits
The 20th Annual Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference has been approved through the AAOHN Continuing Nursing Education Approver Unit for 32.25 contact hours and has been assigned the approval number 3-099-4.  AAOHN is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The American College of Sports Medicine's Professional Education Committee certifies that 20th Annual Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference meets the criteria for official ACSM Approved Provider status from (2009 - 2012).  Providership # 655916

The American Journal of Health Promotion is designated as a provider of Category 1 continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.  The 20th Annual Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference has been reviewed and approved for 32 CECH.  Provider # SEP3301

This program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for  31 CPEUs. Provider # ZZ847

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 32.25 Elective credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

The American Psychological Association Practice Organization (APAPO) and the American Journal of Health Promotion are co-sponsoring the 20th Annual Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference.  APAPO is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. APAPO maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

 Additional Continuing Education Credits will be available for a number of professions.  Details are forthcoming.

Peer Presentations
Learn about the newest developments in health promotion from your colleagues in the field. In addition to the main program, the conference will feature three types of peer presentations. These one-hour presentations include Panel Discussions, Program Descriptions and Research Reports.

Visit displays from our outstanding vendors who provide products and services especially for the health promotion industry.

Exercise Classes
Start each day with an early morning workout. Experience a variety of activities including the latest training techniques in cardio, weights, pilates and more.

Making Connections
In an effort to help conference participants meet others with similar interests and to support a sense of community at the event, the conference will feature Making Connections.

Through Making Connections participants can get together to share a meal, go for a walk or a run, see the sites, go dancing or have a topical discussion over coffee, whatever is stimulating and fun.
Each
Connection is led by a prominent conference attendee.  Many are speakers or editors of the American Journal of Health Promotion.  All of them are committed to helping others learn and form great professional relationships.
